This is based on a prototype of a touch screen kiosk system that links large auto dealerships together via kiosks, allowing a user to locate a vehicle to buy without having to travel to the dealership. The kiosks would be placed in airports and shopping malls. The original prototype program was repurposed for wide distribution on CD-ROM to demonstrate the concept without the need to go into wide production at that time.
