This was a prototype for a touch screen kiosk system for a large chain of a tire and wheel retailers. The concept is to allow a user to “try on” various wheels and tires on their vehicle by being able to choose their vehicle and color from a large visual database. The user is only given the options that fit their own vehicle. In order to distribute this concept inexpensively, the CD-ROM method was chosen. The program accurately worked, allowing the concept to be fully tested first before spending larger amounts on developing the hardware.
