Architecture FAQ

You have questions. We have answers.

What do I need to provide you in order to begin?

As far as source material, we can begin working on your project with any of the following: copy of blueprint (plan and elevation), floor plan outline with dimensions, an existing computer file in AutoCAD format, architectural sketches with dimensional references and any other source material that can convey the outlines, size and other detailed information about the project.

Are the images you provide good enough resolution for print?

Absolutely. Long before we were involved in 3D animation, which has been 12 years now, we had been involved in creating print-related design projects and supervised their production on the press, so we have all the knowledge necessary about what is required for print resolution.

Do you have libraries of furniture that I can choose from?

Yes we do, plus we can obtain or custom create any type of specialty furniture that you need. We can then also rework all the color schemes of the furnishings to complement the style you are going after. Want that couch to be leather instead of fabric? No problem. Have a fabric swatch you want shown on the chair or bedspread? No problem, just provide us with the swatch and we'll make it happen.

How much are alterations?

If they are done early enough in the pipeline, then we'll try to work them in a no additional cost. If scenes need to be rebuilt or considerable work needs to be done to alter the scene, then we'll just charge on an hourly basis.

If I order some images now, but then want to come back later and do a video of the same scene, how much will it cost?

We will only charge you the difference in price between what you paid for the stills and what the video version will cost, plus an additional 15% to unpack and set up the scene again.
